We are delighted to confirm the winners of the 2019 Business Awards for East Staffordshire & South Derbyshire!
Around 270 guests filled the Pirelli Stadium in Burton to celebrate all the 2019 finalists and hear the winners announced (see full list below). The event is in its 10th year, and once again the whole evening focused on showcasing and celebrating the very best business success and talent across the region!
The ultimate accolade of 2019 Business of the Year went to Infinity IT Solutions, based in Uttoxeter. John Southwell, from sponsor Dains Accountants, summarised the shortlisted finalists which included Prestec UK and The Dragon in Willington. Winners Infinity IT Solutions were naturally delighted to pick up the top award and praised their staff for the success that has seen the company grow significantly in recent years in a very competitive marketplace.
Other winners on the night included Uniq Recycling for the Moat Promising New Start-Up Business (sponsored by the Burton & District Chamber of Commerce), West Road Haulage as the Small Business of the Year (sponsored by Else Solicitors), and Brilliant Hygiene Services for Medium Business of the year (sponsored by Franklands Insurance and Risk Management).
The categories that celebrate individual performance and success were won by Morgan Addenbrook from Adient Seating as Young Employee / Apprentice of the Year (sponsored by Burton & South Derbyshire College), and Amie Hunt from The Clinic Burton who picked up The Rising Star Award (sponsored by Parker Technical Services).
The Employer of the Year award went to Prestec UK (sponsored by Holleron Weath Management), with Field Sport UK picking up the award for Best Customer Service Performance (sponsored by Visdata). The Leisure and Hospitality Award went to The Dragon in Willington.
Specialised Orthotic Services, based in Tutbury, picked up awards in two categories, namely Manufacturer of the Year (sponsored by The Greenbank Group), and Best Use of Innovation or Technology (sponsored by JCB).
